2010 AGM cum Spring Social Dinner, &
2010 Mahjong King Tournament (2010麻雀王大賽)

You are invited to come to our 2010 AGM cum Spring Social Dinner and to participate in the 2010 OAASPC Mahjong Tournament (麻雀王大賽).  Details of these two events are as follows:

Date:    Saturday, April 17, 2010

Time:    6:30 p.m., with dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Place:   Seafood Delight Chinese Cuisine (囍悅海鮮酒家)
           8425 Woodbine Avenue (south of Highway #7), Markham

Cost:    $35.00 per person
           $15.00 per child under 12 years of age

• Souvenirs & lucky draws, and a traditional Chinese dinner are all inclusive
• All alumni and their spouses & friends are welcome.

Cost:     Free

• The tournament is strictly “gambling free” with no money involved.
• We will be targeting to have 16 participants with 4 tables
• Special prizes will be presented to the “2010 OAASPC Mahjong King” and one of the participants in the tournament
• The tournament is opened to alumni and their spouses only
• To participate in this event, please register on or before Friday, April 9, 2010 with Peter TSANG, Anthony WONG Dick-ming or WU Chiu-kwong.
  
  
• Please note that the tournament may be cancelled due to insufficient number of participants.  So please register early!!  
  
  

  Tournament will proceed in the following format:

  2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. with the top 2 highest scores in each table proceeding to semi-finals

  Break for approximately 15 minutes

  4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 8 semi-finalists will form 2 tables with the 4 highest scorers to proceed to the final table

  Break for approximately 15 minutes

  5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. the 4 finalists will compete and the highest scorer will be crowned “2010 OAASPC Mah-jong King” (2010年麻雀王)
