Four introductory sessions organized for all alumni and their families free of charge, a comprehensive curriculum is specially designed by the experienced instructor.
Curriculum for Art Class: Pre-Class Preparation -- Art Gallery of Ontario Tour, January 7, 2004 (Wednesday), 6:00 -8:30 pm< (AGO Wednesday Evening Free Admission) Tour highlights include visiting the Permanent Collection, Canadian Art Gallery (Group of Seven), Contemporary Art Collection, Inuit Art, & Sculpture including Henry Moore Sculpture Centre (World Largest Collection) etc. to provide students a general picture of different fields and media involved in the art and design world. Selective art and design history topics will also be covered in the tour. Special interest in particular theme galleries may be included upon request.

January 17, 2004 (Saturday), 1:00 - 2:30 pm Class 2 : Introduction to Still Life Using the art principles learnt from Class 1, the shading technique is introduced and the techniques of building blocks recognition will be explored.
January 24, 2004 (Saturday), 1:00 - 2:30 pm Class 3 :Introduction to Composition Basic composition, object orientation, and ratio judgement techniques will be covered.
January 31, 2004 (Saturday), 1:00 - 2:30 pm Class 4 : Introduction to Landscape & Figure Drawing A comprehensive approach to introduce the basic techniques and principles used in drawing the landscape and the human body. |
